One of our newest partners, Come Out Seattle, is honoring and celebrating the city’s LGBTQIA+ history by sharing and preserving the stories behind safe public LGBTQIA+ spaces. Since the opening of The Garden of Allah in 1945, Seattle has had more than 215 LGBTQIA+ oriented small businesses.

The South Park Playfield is available for sports teams and community groups to reserve! Those with ties to South Park will have priority access. The next round of reservations is for the summer, apply for a permit by March 1. ⚽️

Duwamish Valley Sustainability Association (DVSA) and their biodigester project were spotlighted by Grist earlier this month! DVSA’s efforts to reduce food waste in the South Park area first started in 2021, and we were excited to witness the completion of the biodigester project last year.
