Rescues are not accomplished by one person or one group of people – we can only achieve this because we all work together and with joint commitment. LOVE & RAGE

Also a big thank you again to @missionlifeline for lending us RHIB Molly. And to @alarmphone who helped us a lot finding the case.

But for all of us, the fight for humanity and justice in the Mediterranean continues.

We say THANK YOU to our crew – on the Sea Punk I and on land. And also to everyone who supports us financially, with their expertise, and with their organizational efforts!

And the crew, which consists of many volunteers, is only ever crewed for one month at a time, meaning we cannot wait for the weather to change. By the time that happens, the timeframe for this rotation would have already expired. The crew now has their lives and jobs waiting for them back home.
November 24, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Due to the changing weather in recent days, with very high waves and storms, the crew could not return directly to the search and rescue area. Our small Sea Punk I is not designed for operations in such weather conditions.

You support our crew with your donation. And help us save the lives of people in distress at sea. All the info is in our bio.

Because just a few hours later, they're back on watch duty. Maintaining this rhythm for several days is challenging even without rescues. For our crew, it's part of everyday life on their deployment at Sea Punk I. The saying is: you catch up with sleep later, ashore, after the rotation.

Spotting anything in the blackness of night is very difficult, which makes it all the more important that we keep a lookout. And of course, the bridge must always be manned by a nautical person, as must the engine room. Those not on watch use the time to take a break, rest, and recharge.
November 23, 2025 at 4:30 PM
What actually happens during the long winter nights when we're on rotation? Even if we don't know of any specific search and rescue case, our crew is on duty the entire time. Even at night. Working in shifts, they share the night watch and lookout duties.

Gender self-determination is not a luxury, but a human right. Trans rights are human rights!

Today, we therefore remember all those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence. But we don't just remember—the fight continues. For safe spaces. For genuine solidarity. For speaking out against transphobic policies.

...violence in camps and detention centers.

Unfortunately, violence against trans people doesn't stop at national borders. In Germany alone, in the last five years, 32% of trans women, 21% of trans men, and 18% of non-binary people have been attacked because they are LGBTQ+.

We do not know what they experienced on their way, nor do we know what awaits them in Europe. Unfortunately, we know that it is not welcoming them warmly. Which is why we are greatful to have been able to assist and help them a little bit and wish all of them well.
November 19, 2025 at 5:54 PM
If we take people on board they get to eat, to drink, a blanket, dry cloths, medical assessment and we inform them about their rights. We know very well that this is just another step in their already long, draining and often painful search for a safe life.
