He's so determined to vote, he's planning to stick it out and get himself there in person. These things shouldn't be happening. We tried to call ourselves early last week and couldn't get through.

Just spoke to a disabled vet who has a hard time in crowds to the point of ordering groceries to his door. He's been calling the Elections Department since January for his mail-in ballot with no one picking up the phone.

This district is not a revolving door, it is not a seat you can run for just for the sake of running, and anyone who wants to put their name on the ballot better be committed to stick it out for the long run.
