Genuinely surprised this is the first mass shooting in R.I. since I arrived here 1 yr ago. Utterly insane that this, despite today, is still one of the safest states when it comes to gun crime .

If masked, unidentified persons attempt to kidnap people I think it justifiable to use lethal force to stop them. If they are government agents they need to identify themselves as such.

I would reject that we are "pretty insignificant" With our global diaspora and our long history of standing up for oppressed people everywhere, I would say that, pound for pound, Ireland's global influence far exceeds many much larger nations.
