Then take guns away from police and soldiers too. Disarming the least dangerous group of society makes sense. Leaving the most violent people on earth heavily armed makes little sense.

Solutions dont involve guns. Living wages, affordable housing, Universal Healthcare, quality education, free or inexpensive cultural events, adequate free time for leisure activities. Give people the resources they need and help them foster a sense of community and our problems just melt away.

Violence is not ok with me. That's why I want to do something about it and am eternity frustrated that people will focus on guns so as to avoid the problem

Humans have human rights and the right to defend yourself is as old as humanity itself. The idea that you would take away those rights at a time when fascism seeks to spread its tentacles thru the nation is especially horrific

This is what happens when unrestrained greed hollows out the country. Guns being recognized as the human right they are has nothing to do with it.

National Guard were extensively rotated into Iraq. Often they were more heavily involved in the fighting then the regular Army. No hyperbole there.
