Totally fine with them misreading this of course, but they tried hard - and got beat even harder.
Of the 585 races on the ballot from judge to school boards in Allegheny County, in all but 17 where there was a competitive race D vs. R, the D won (and one current tie).

Also, PA not a Blue state - biggest swing state - and they got spanked up and down the ballot - places that were red for eons turned blue - bellwether counties went 60% Dem - their big "NO" campaign absolutely crushed.
