I wasn’t doing photography seriously at the time, but I lost my point-and-shoot camera on the flight there so my only pics came via my phone (an iPhone 3 I think) and the Instagram precursor Hipstamatic. Such a bummer, need to go back!

This was a work trip. I was doing PR for Hilton and hosted a group of journalists at Hilton Queenstown as part of a global spa concept rollout.

When I was doing PR for DC and we hosted a red carpet event during San Diego Comic-Con celebrating the 75th anniversary of Superman, a copy of Superman No. 1 (that at least at the time was owned by Jack White) was flown in. It had more security protecting it than anyone in attendance.
