I guess it partly comes down to how you cope with #JonathanDonahue’s voice. Saw them at the #MoseleyFestival in August: interest seriously piqued. This currently on repeat in the car. #MercuryRev

Bought OTD in 1972: one of two, the past and the future. This is a proper 1967 psych album - not too many of those - with jammy excursions, sitar drenched Dave Mason songs and Steve Winwood’s beautiful No Face No Name No Number. One last rave up on the title track too

Love this, from 2007. They have obviously listened very carefully to #NEU!, which is a very good idea of course. #fujiyaandmiyagi

Yatton Down in #Wiltshire, yesterday. Absolutely get why it’s called ‘a hidden gem.’ Part of it is a small nature reserve, although the noise from #CastleCombe circuit - literally up the bank to the North - can be considerable (but there are different ways of having fun I guess).

#TheMountWithout in #Bristol used to be the church of St. Michael the Archangel, just outside (without) the city walls, but now it is a venue, and a pretty wonderful one too.

Despite being a music bore, I think I’ve just about managed to stay one inch away from obsession, EXCEPT for this one. Comforting to know that luminaries like #JackBruce and #DaveHolland were also smitten. #EricDolphy #jazz

Almost 300 very enthusiastic pages on foghorns must be unique. Lots of fascinating references - including Bob ‘The Bear’ Hite of #CannedHeat no less - and the immortal line: ‘ #VanMorrison loves foghorns.’ Only a fool would argue. #JenniferLucyAllan
