Formative anime for me, two of the main protagonists are an enormous Sean and Manami blueprint.

In a weird way, the two are how I felt watching The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker. Both are bad, but I enjoyed the latter more even though it’s the worse of the two.

Cause it’s “you tried to say something and failed” vs. “you didn’t give a fuck writing, so I don’t have to give a fuck watching.”

Yeah, I really just prefer to believe Ripley’s story ended with Aliens (not as if the world changes much otherwise).

Alien 4 is so bizarre… like I think it’s a fun action flick, and I like watching Brad Dourif be Brad Dourif, but it’s objectively a horrible Alien movie.

Anyway, Predator Badlands looks good.

Also this might just be a me thing, but none of 3’s haphazard religious metaphors landed for me. It felt like it thought it had more to say than it did, especially considering what the monsters are a metaphor for.

It says a lot when I would prefer to watch the one Joss Whedon made.

Felt this in my core. I got like five different insane people who think I want to destroy all they love, and I don’t even remember my first interactions with any of them.
