On a day meant to celebrate gratitude and togetherness, we recommit to fighting for policies that honor our shared humanity, not punish it.

ICE, now the highest-funded federal law enforcement agency, continues to target and terrorize immigrant communities, right here in San Diego.

This land is home to generations of resilient, hard-working families who deserve dignity, not displacement.

This Thanksgiving, while many gather with loved ones, we hold space for those who can’t. Families who have been torn apart by cruel and deliberate policy choices that prioritize punishment and fear over compassion and justice.

🍕For 40 years, Woodstock’s Pizza SDSU has been part of what makes the College Area so vibrant and welcoming.

Last night, we presented a certificate to celebrate their commitment to serving students, families, and neighbors who make this community what it is.

Cheers to the next 40!

At Hamilton, they walk as one family and today, we were proud to walk with them. 💙
November 15, 2025 at 3:58 AM
Hamilton hosts the walk for three reasons:

1️⃣ Safer streets, because no child should be at risk walking to school

2️⃣ Dignity and security of every family, especially for those who live in fear of immigration or separation

3️⃣ Honor the legacy of Ruby Bridges
November 15, 2025 at 3:58 AM
This morning, our team joined the Hamilton Elementary community for Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. The walk honors Ruby Bridges’ bravery as a six-year-old who changed history as the first African-American child to attend an all-white elementary school.

Today, we pause to honor and thank our veterans and service members. In addition to honoring them with words, let’s honor them with action. That means ensuring they have access to affordable housing, basic and emergency services for those experiencing homelessness, and mental health resources.
