Big Honkin' Redwoods - Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Felton, CA. I'm pretty sure sure that's the technical name for them. This park is just a few miles from me and I visit often.

Hiking in Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Santa Cruz County, CA - December 2017. This is all burn scar today and I haven't had the heart to return. Big Basin was a frequent favorite park for me with miles and miles of trails. You can see the Pacific Ocean out there.

Today I volunteered to run a photo booth at our annual Harvest Festival. I used my ancient Canon ID Mk II, 8.2-megapixel from 2004. The weather was iffy and kids were running around. It's water resistant and built like a tank. The old guy did fine. So did the camera. #photography #santacruzmountains
