"Minute by Minute" is the eighth studio album by The Doobie Brothers, released on December 1, 1978. It hit #1 on the Billboard 200 Top LP's chart.
"Minute by Minute" features three Billboard Hot 100 charting singles - "Dependin' on You" (#25), "Minute by Minute" (#14 and Black Singles #74), and "What a Fool Believes" (#1 and Black Singles #72), which also won a Grammy Award. The Doobie's biggest commercial success coincided with Michael McDonald's emergence as the leader of the band. His brilliant brand of sophisticated, keyboard-driven pop soul, as exemplified by the title track and the huge hit "What a Fool Believes," was instantly identifiable and almost impossible to resist. There are tracks here that look back to the Doobie's earlier days as a biker boogie band, in particular "Don't Stop to Watch the Wheels," and "Steamer Lane Breakdown," a country song reminiscent of the Byrds' "Nashville West." But the sound here is mostly McDonald's. The album would be the last to include members Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and John Hartman.

The Eye of Surrealist Time. It is part of his 1971 portfolio Memories of Surrealism. The artwork features a large human eye with a clock face in the iris, representing "Father Time looking over the creations of life". Butterflies, a common motif in Dalí's work, are also present and can represent themes such as transformation or decay. The piece utilizes Dalí's signature surrealist style, which aimed to "systematize confusion and thus to help discredit completely the world of reality" by depicting dreamlike imagery with meticulous technique. Dalí also designed a physical "The Eye of Time" brooch and watch in 1949, made of diamonds and platinum with a ruby tear duct, for his wife Gala.

'Head' is a soundtrack album from The Monkees, released on December 1, 1968. It reached #45 on the Billboard 200 Top LP's chart. It was The Monkees' last album to feature Peter Tork until 1987's Pool It! and the last to feature all four Monkees until 1996's Justus.
Combating charges that they were a pre-fab Beatles knockoff with no real talent, the Monkees went the Liverpudlians one better by making "Head", a wild, experimental film that made "A Hard Day's Night" look like a drawing-room drama. The soundtrack has some freewheeling moments to match, but more significantly, it contains some of the Monkees' best tunes from the period when the runaway train of their huge pop hits started losing speed. Seemingly influenced by the band's (particularly Mickey Dolenz's) love of Tim Buckley (who was a musical guest on the Monkees' TV show), "As We Go Along" is an incredibly moving slice of balladic folk-rock that could have fallen off of Buckley's seminal "Happy Sad". The beloved "Porpoise Song (Theme from Head)" is a sun-drenched psychedelic gem that stands up to anything on "Sgt. Pepper's" or "Pet Sounds". A batch of previously unreleased tunes appended to this reissue sweeten the pot some, but regardless, "Head" is a vitally important, often undervalued chapter in the Monkees' history. Showing the growing influence of Frank Zappa on the Monkees' circle (Zappa even has a cameo role as "The Critic" in the film itself), the soundtrack album intersperses the six proper songs ("Porpoise Song," "Circle Sky," "Can You Dig It?," "As We Go Along," "Daddy's Song" and "Long Title: Do I Have To Do This All Over Again?") with bits of Ken Thorne's incidental music, dialogue fragments and oddball sound effects, for an overall effect close to Zappa's We're Only in It for the Money. The selection of music and dialogue approximates the flow of the movie itself, and was compiled by actor Jack Nicholson, who cowrote the film's shooting script. Nicholson recalled in Monkee Mania how he observed Michael Nesmith working on the album in the studio, asked if he could try some editing, and Nesmith let Nicholson take over the session, because "I just want to go home!".

There Are But Four Small Faces is a studio album by Small Faces, released December 1, 1967 in the US. It was the band's first LP release in the United States, and is a modified version of the UK album Small Faces, which came out the previous year. It reached #178 on the Billboard 200 Top LP’s chart. There Are But Four combines tracks from the UK album with the standalone singles "Itchycoo Park" (the group's only US hit), "Here Come the Nice" and "Tin Soldier", and their respective B-sides.
