if the US wanted a stable an independent south america we wouldn't have done operation condor but the US doesn't and is probably annoyed by everyone going "hey wtf" at $20bil to argentina when they're used to people ignoring activities with the puppet states

it's funny because everyone was going ??? at the monroe doctrine being cited towards why the US should bail out argentina but it's actually spot on in the ouroboros of US hegemony - the US fucked argentina as part of a political project, and this is paying for the fucking as part of the project
