Merc as well as BMW, Audi can charge more in Germany simply because of the brand perception and the market favouring German-engineered/built. They charge what they can get away with, above BMW and Audi. Nobody in Germany will compare a Tesla to a German premium brand, it's apples v a mouldy lemon

Hear hear! When we went to Hiroshima 2 years ago there was a US group on the train with us, and while reasonably quiet for Americans, one of them (mid-50s man) was wearing a "US Navy" emblazoned T-shirt...on his way to tour Hiroshima. Tone deaf much? 🤬

Yes that's fair. The GO! taxi app in Japan is also pretty good for that, no misunderstandings where you want to go and a fare estimate upfront that in my experience is always higher than what you actually pay, and you pay through the app too.

We’re the Florida of planes down here, besides all the Fokkers plenty of Saabs still active, with REX and Link and probably a few others. Finally flew one for the first time last year. Now have FlyPelican’s Jetstream 32 on my list 🤞

We’ve got heaps of them too but they are nesting in the neighbour’s bushes, I call them our “water birds” because of this almost daily spectacle 😂
