Don’t discount the importance of having time to rest and prepare. New Mexico had a week off to reset.

2 bid league right now. I think a big reason why they added WAB this year is because it’s a good predictor of who should be in and who shouldn’t. Only one team below 42 in that metric didn’t get in last season.

The only way is if Nevada or New Mex win the MW tournament. Boise wins the regular season title with a bunch of conference Q1 road wins, Utah State beats Saint Mary’s and doesn’t have any bad losses and the Aztecs don’t have any bad losses.

I was there yesterday. One of their biggest weaknesses has been knocking down 3s. They get the open look through making the right passes but don’t hit those shots a lot.

Oregon moves the ball really well to find the open shot. I thought Texas A&M may have had more talent but they were stuck in iso ball and took more contested shots.
