Everyone in a command position should quit, retire, refuse to participate in the plethora of illegal acts ordered by this administration. If not quit, then order their divisions to stand down, or not make a move until these fools are out. Let Trump and Hegseth deal with the consequences then.

If only the trophy was made of a glitter infused substance that came off in his hands and just made a sparkly mess of himself.

I do it all myself. I read the manuscript dozens of times during the process then again a few more times before I hit publish. Covers are hardest, but there are ways to make nice ones yourself, it just takes time to find the right image

I’ve written six with at least that many in different stages of completion. I decided to wean away from Amazon to #inkitt, an app. Three books are there now. I create art using words. I just want people to read what I created, even if it’s for free and there I’m seeing that happen.

I have never used Spotify.

A better idea is to ignore any offer from the current administration, even if they lose some military support.

I smell a copyright infringement suit by the author of the series for that gross misrepresentation of a children’s book.

a couple of bars of Smooth Operator by Sade has lived in my head for months. It gets countered by louder song but with shorter stays. Hopefully “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” the current loudmouth, wears itself out soon.

Our play opens for the theater company’s board tonight, the public tomorrow. As stage manager, I’m going to try and relax to keep my anxiety levels down. This is one busy play.

I remember, and that the president went hard on fuel efficiency, energy conservation, and set an mph limit on roads, all to wean ourselves from fossil fuels and use more renewables. He was right on all of it.

I suspect the demand for AI which is a useful tool in several ways, is going to prove to be grossly overestimated as it is much less applicable than advertised.

I hope it bankrupts the lot.

Also, we should be more than willing to point out our flaws and acknowledge the damage caused as well as our tendency to repeat the bad decisions of our predecessors. Yes, we’ve made great strides on many fronts, while at the same time fucking it up on others.

It destroyed a system that depended on slavery for its wealthy elite, yet offered little to help former slaves reach any semblance of equality. Any gains they made initially were quickly quelled. A Christian denomination was founded to keep equality out of the church.

Seek to undo every single gain in individual freedoms and rights. Our nation was framed by white wealthy elites who’ve been consistent in keeping a hand in power and control of our nation. History shows us the pattern.
December 3, 2025 at 6:48 PM
The founders didn’t really consider everyone in the new nation to be equal. The poor, women, slaves, indigenous people all had limited rights. The Civil war and its aftermath reinforced that reality, as did the Industrial revolution, Religious dominance, white nationalists, etc.,…1/2

Racism and bigotry are foundational principles in this country, invisible pillars that have resisted all attempts to eradicate them.

low information voters who get that bit of info from…the true believers. It’s very frustrating.

They do, but are told that it is a choice of evil, and destruction which will doom the nation and allow all sorts of bad things to happen. Fear and loathing is foundational in this setting.

Exactly and in a patriarchal society, which MAGA most certainly is, women are conditioned to consider the opinions of the men in their lives as superior to their own, no matter the level of bullshit.
