I thought I’d share w you my plan. I have read up to Grey Wolf in the last couple years. At the end of Dec, I had to do a huge training & exam for my IT job. Decided to use GW as a gift for passing. I did pass it & now will start a re-read of all G books… which should work into BW released too. 🎉

Friday was my dad’s birthday. He has end-stage pulmonary fibrosis. He’s in the hospital battling an infection. Whatever happens this week or in the coming years, he survived his 87th birthday. 🎂

I PASSED MY SERVICENOW EXAM! Which means I can proceed with the gift to myself: complete re-read of the #Gamache books. #ThreePines

Yup, exactly what I was doing. "Let's see, I know "burrito". And I have figured out that word in some sort of bird in German." 🤦‍♀️

And I felt bad about how terribly English-centric my education had been. ☹️

On my first trip to Germany, my work colleagues took me to a Spanish restaurant that didn’t have an English menu, just a Spanish one w German subtitles. I had to figure out each meal using what I could remember from high school Spanish and what German words I’d picked up from earlier in the week. 😖

We just drove home from visiting family. I said it’s great that we are getting home just before midnight…at 7:38pm. 😖

I don’t always bark at the mailman… oh wait, yes I do.

But it is helpful that so many of them do. Nice of them to advertise.

We used to live in Washington County. I’ve see your pics on fb often thru the years. You really capture the beauty of the city.

My daughter-in-law made a sugar-free chocolate pudding pie, because she knows I’m dieting. It was delicious and it made me happy that she thought of me.
I also had a small piece of her amazing apple crumb pie too. 🥰

In April 2024, my husband ( #autoimmune #polymyositis) and I ( #ms #multiplesclerosis) started #weightwatchers and an exercise program ( #walking and #yoga). We have both lost 50lbs! Feel great and know it’ll help us as we age.
