Jayce is expecting just another regular night shift as guardian of the Piltover Public Morgue when the arrival of a strange body disrupts his quiet routine. With a violent storm raging through the city and nowhere to run, will Jayce be able to make it until morning?

"So, take this tale as you wish. As a true recounting of the demise of a promising scientist, or as the musings of a madman, or as an exemplary study of what ambition and frustration can lead a gifted mind to.

Some might read it as a warning against challenging the men and women destiny and greed have unjustly put above us. Others might instead view it as the very opposite of that, a testimony of defiance in the face of a world that imposes its claws on our souls from the very moment we are born.

For me, this is first and foremost a love story."
