Survived my first 2 lessons in my new school! I have 3 to do tomorrow… sitting and doing all the planning now. Actually I just want to go to bed 🫠

I put this on the other place and most were nice (apart from some random who should have listened to Thumper’s mum) This was my just turned 15 yo’s art homework. Am so proud and also so pleased she gets to do her one GCSE option in something she loves.

‘Morning’ (it’s not but I have only just finished breakfast) Got to do some work and feeling v sick about it. I’m at a new school for another 3 weeks, very strange to be teaching kids I don’t know a new curriculum. I am really feeling the slog of this course and wondering why I started it

It’s been a long day. Drove to kid’s school, then to mine. Full day of teaching. Shopping. Drove home, straight out in car to do ballet run. Lost my lip balm and my lips are sore. Sitting in a car park in the rain doing my planning for tomorrow. Tuesday is the worst day I think

I made a turkey and ham pie with leftover Christmas meat. The only thing I had to buy which I didn’t have in was some mustard. Made my own pastry. It was lush (and I did sprout tops which I adore) Am now wondering why I am not looking too slim at the mo 😆
