One of the lost files on my drive is the full size of this photo. Skullface from the band Superargo at at The Grenada in Lawrence KS, 2005. The drive is enroute to a recovery company now. It would be awesome to get the pics of this show back.

Cold weather made me crave gumbo.
A bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo with a scoop of potato salad in the middle. I learned this from a cajun friend and I have not eaten it any other way since. Ingredient prep for making gumbo. I cheated and used store bought roux. But I chopped the chicken thighs, andouille sausage, and veggies myself.

Timeline Palate Cleanser:

My brother recently went through some domestic rearranging, and this was the first Tday with the new wife and family.

The difference seeing him in a living an supportive relationship now, and the feel around the house was amazing.
My sister in law sneaking bits of Turkey to the dog, Toby, behind my brothers back, with a theatrical finger to the lips. Toby the dog having the time of his life smiling and happy. Toby is a black poodle mix of some kind. He knows you have snacks. My niece, her husband, and my mom all relaxing on the couch with all the dogs. I highly recommend this as a pre-meal activity. This is the face my mom made after taking a bite of my niece's sourdough bread. Hrler first time trying inclusions, this loaf had cranberries and orange zest. This was not a faked face for the camera or to make your relatives feel good about their special interest, it was really good bread.

Took the plunge and had my old Eos R converted for infrared. Lots of post processing, but so worth it.

590nm filter with a channel swap and also converted to black and white.

Only when you look closely at the wall so you see the rusted metal of former industrial machinery embedded in concrete. This is all the remains of a place where up to 20,000 people worked surrounded by fire and smoke for 145 years.
