thing bleed, get thrown into walls, and brutally die. It's such a welcome change, and I'm someone who doesn't love violent stuff generally. Sorry it's so late, but check it out next Halloween, or now, cause it rules.

and elegant decoration. Sound is great too and really helps the film feel unsettling. As for the acting I really enjoyed it, Laura Donnelly as Elsa being my stand-out for this. There's only one other thing I want to mention: VIOLENCE. Oh my goodness does it feel good to have characters in a marvel

It's black and white, has been printed to film then scanned digitally to look like an older film, even utilising artefacts? Is that the word? That would appear using film. The effects are mostly practical and work very well, and the sets themselves are beautiful, a mix of hedges, concrete walls,

Man-thing, who Jack is friends with, and he's trapped in the grounds. After the stone itself is Elsa Bloodstone, so the two team-up and must fight their way through the grounds and the other hunters. I won't spoil more story than that ;). On to the visuals; WBN has the look of an old horror film.

Disney+. Unfortunately these don't seem to get physical releases since to my knowledge neither of the 2 so far have received one. WBN follows Jack, a monster hunter who joins several others to acquire the bloodstone, a fancy red jewel which can harm monsters. This stone is currently attached to

That's about all I have to say without spoilers, so maybe I'll revisit this one another time.

but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. The sound mix itself was so poor I put the subtitles on to know what the characters were saying.

Something I really appreciated was how much more violent this was than the weird empty bodies of What-if.

I enjoyed Hailee Steinfeld returning as Kate, and Todd Williams had a badass voice as Blade. To touch on the visuals, we unfortunately still have the awkward What-if movements and weird lighting. As for sound there's some nice distorted sounding parts to go with how wrong this all is,

cameos, and concepts (one early on being Shang-chi and Katie leading a Fury Road-like group of survivors while singing covers of songs on the radio, a cute nod to their karaoke singing from their film). As usual for animated content I want to point out some voice work, without giving too much away

Shang-chi, Katie, and some other survivors from San-Francisco. Kamala joins up with Blade (taking up the Moon Knight identity in this timeline), Red Guardian and Yelena and both groups converge. From there I don't to spoil any other story things but I will point out I loved some of these locations,

Right off the bat I really liked this group and would have loved more of them, unfortunately the same dumbass virus is still about as characters in this will CONSTANTLY be like "hang on I'll hold them off" and pointlessly die when they had time to run. Frome episode 2 onwards we also follow

is a series highlight.

Finally touching on visuals, they're fine, but there's this weird lighting in What-if where everything looks too bright and it gets unpleasant to took at.

The episode ends up a really mixed bag, watch if you want to watch Marvel Zombies but otherwise not sure I can recommend this one, though it
