It's harder to build engagement here than on X, though X now hampers engagement for anything except fake patriots. It's been a horrible year too, folk are still burnt out by social media.
I'm in both science & art fields, this is a better place to build connections between them, but it'll take time.

Sorry, what I meant is not just lists but Starter Packs. They help to connect by interest. But perhaps what this platform is really lacking is groups.

There are a fair few here. Following feeds like Science and lists is helpful to find people to connect with.

Rather funny of Reform to talk about ancient history, seeing as half of them cosplay being stuck in the trenches circa 1918 and the closest they get to modern history is Enoch Powell and sexist seaside postcards from Clacton.

A lot of the places in red have outsourced bot/troll farms — same as outsourced call centres in those locations: cheap English-speaking labour.
