I never saw the first film until 2020 during the pandemic. Just didn't have a desire to up until then. I enjoyed it for what it was. Saw the second in the theater & reviewed it for my podcast and enjoyed it more than the first film. It's an experiential series of films & it's good to have those

I got to see and review some really good films this month (Nuremberg, Rental Family, Sentimental Value)

There were only 3 animiated film nominated for best animated feature (Ratatoutille, Peresepolis & Surf's Up). Do you think either (or both) Shrek the Third or The Simpsons Movie should've been nominated?
