Absolute farce

Yeah, I get it. I’m very conscious that on the worst days, I tend to try to reach for positives and what might be. I also won’t die on the hill defending it for the same reason, he’s not earned any credit yet.

I don’t know that he is tactically inflexible and I think that was partly why he was hired. Not sure he’ll get time to evolve it like he did at Brentford though

I can understand that view too.
The niggling concern is that even when we get to the destination, we won’t be that keen on it. Which sounds like where you’re coming from.
To add a layer, Levy leaving means we have new senior faces to make their mistakes as they learn. A shemozzle.

Mismanagement through the whole set up brings us here.
Ripping it up and starting again every couple of years impacts cohesion, which gets shown up in big games.
This means that probably the best thing we can do is stay the course, which is depressing on days like this.

*to fumble it.

I said earlier they’d have to go some to fumble the next state election, appears they are a chance!

It’s pretty simple, he employs people that are compromised so they can’t turn on him.

First ever non-final FA Cup game played at Wembley. We expected to lose, and somehow took it away from them.
Almost everyone I knew in N London found a way to get a ticket to the game. Simply outstanding experience .

The semi was one of the best days of my footballing life. The build up against a team that had seemed invincible, was something special.
When Gazza’s goal went in, I remember celebrating it on my back on the floor between two of the bench seats…seven rows down from where I started.

Nailed it. No pun intended.

Not joking, I’ve just seen a 5 minute story on the news because some kids were taught Augustus instead of Julius Cesar for a term.

His straw-man response formula sometimes lets him down, doesn’t it?

I think the pragmatism we’re seeing shows a manager with high emotional intelligence - after the high we ended on last year, defeats would bring huge pressure to him and the squad. It’ll make the eyes sting at times, but I get why we’re setting out firstly not to lose.

Imagine the travel they would’ve done in the last few days…for that. In any workplace that’d just foster resentment and apathy.
