Follow up. Apparently for some people un-ticking "quick fixes" in the ublock filter settings seems to fix the problem

It might also just be the case that it was a recent change by Youtube that broke adblock once again and it takes a few hours - a day until the filters get an update that blocks it properly again

Reddit seems to have changed something recently. I got multiple notifications for comment streaks in the last few days. Notifications used to be for upvotes and comments only, so they probably changed something internally to create more engagement if I had to guess.

Shoplifting has never and will probably never be a big issue. Certainly not big enough to warrant this. I'm just straight up baffled that they chose to do this. Hurting sales, alienating customers, for a shoplifting epidemic they themselves have invented???

What's irrational about it? Russia desires a weakened US on the global stage. Trump achieves that. They have ties with each other. Russia may not have the resources of the US, but they don't have to outspend the US to bribe top officials.
