My Morning Jacket used to do a special Thanksgiving homecoming show in Louisville when everyone (including me) was back home visiting family. It was fantastic.

Forgot about that! I’ll have to go back and listen. When I think back on that run I mostly remember the crowd response during the Everglades line of Water in the Sky. And Trey chocking up a bit during the Grandpa line of Ya Mar. Strange that those memories are the strongest.

Felt fortunate to go to the Denver shows. My favorites were the truer TAB songs Alive Again, Simple Twist Up Dave, Push On, Last Tube, Olivia, Money Love Change…but interestingly the most exploratory “jams” seemed to only occur during the “Phish” songs. I don’t understand this choice, but whatever.

I thought the argument was that the Democrats caused inflation by giving out pandemic checks? (even though I’m aware Trump gave out checks too during the pandemic).
