I've created a custom labeler so now you can make the svelte feed better!

rccl.ink/labeler

Subscribe to the labeler and if you see some post in the feed that is not about svelte or some post that is about svelte but is not in the feed report it to the labeler and i will manually add/remove it! 🧡

I just added validation for the claude-skills-cli to check for and fix multi-line `description:`'s

I thought it was a bug, the bug was me formatting with prettier!

Agents love a CLI, they can't resist tool use!

You tell 'em there's a tool to use and they go bananas!

Like, when you ask for a short summary and they spit out a 1.5k work dissertation 😂

Ricing for Windows is real btw

I have a distraction free env

Use the Alt+spacebar for quick menu

I know where to go to disable stupid sound inputs quickly

bluetooth _works_

software for keeb and cam _works_

Every day I think about going back to Linux

I have a Fedora partition, I use it on occasion

With Windows WSL, if I fuck up a distro, I just install another one, start over, dotfiles and settings backed up

Omarchy has called my name a few times

Maybe I'll listen soon™️

Background on this post was

I was using SvelteKit shallow routing because I didn’t want to load data on page load to moved it off to another route, something broke with shallow routing so was a great time to do away with a route, page + server load function
SvelteKit remote functions are such a nice QoL feature, just got rid of a route that I used for shallow routing on scottspence.com because I can now grab the data straight from the server without having to create a `load` function to go grab it
Hello World! Welcome to my site! Enjoy!
My own little space on the internet, where I write about what I've learned as a web developer mainly Svelte and SvelteKit.

Forking awesome!
today we landed a @svelte.dev feature i'm pretty stoked about — we call it 'forking', and it lets you run state changes offscreen and later choose whether to commit them (e.g. user hovers on a link, preload data in case they click)

- docs svelte.dev/docs/svelte/...
- demo svelte.dev/playground/a...

Yes! Let's set the record straight. Biome has very little support for Svelte. It's marketing gone overboard. It has no Svelte-specific rules that I'm aware of. I don't think it will ever be a competitive offering. My eyes are on oxlint, which is working towards being able to run eslint-plugin-svelte
> While we’ve done extensive work to handle many patterns, there are cases and framework-specific syntaxes that may not yet be fully supported (for example Svelte control-flow syntax, or Astro JSX-like syntax).

Sooo... Not full support then 😅
