I made an Ewok Alliance infantry noncom named Yub Sergeant Nub back in high school but the GM moved away before we could play that game. In my headcanon Yub Sergeant Nub is still out there somewhere, avenging his people.

It's not impossible, and we do find out the Empire is deliberately laying low. But if it had been my call I would have added some scars to the forest... some sport hunting. Some signs that the chance meetings were cruel. I mean, later on the fact that Ewoks are visibly killed in battle is 🧵

We don't meet them as a culture living in tension because of the Imperial presence; at first they seem almost blissfully detached from any worry about it.
