no one wants to talk about, "how do we end men being tortured in our awful prisons."

we're doing masculine crisis discourse again, I guess.

so I'll post this again. Patriarchy *defines masculinity as a crisis*; that's how patriarchy works. www.everythingishorrible.net/p/there-isnt...

We have seen this before - but this time is different, since they've gutted our staff and ransacked our #grant programs. The American people deserve better than this obliteration of our #culture and #history and #heritage. #NEH #NEA #IMLS
President Trump has released a 2026 budget that would entirely eliminate the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities, while the NEA releases an update to its grant guidelines. www.americantheatre.org/2025/05/02/t...
Trump Proposes Elimination of NEA and NEH
The administration’s 2026 budget comes at a time when the future of NEA staff and grant programs remains in doubt.

Since everyone is asking about Nour here is my verification of her. Nour has a GoFundMe and a Chuffed I’m assuming for the reason most Gazans do- because GFM is an arbitrary nightmare who may hold your money for months- but people trust it more and chuffed is the reverse
Nour has social media that predates the war in Gaza, many unique photos and videos and spoke with @ahmedhijazi.bsky.social who confirmed her family’s story.

Nour is particularly concerned about Ziad getting treatment for his anemia because it has impacted his ability to walk. If you can help ❤️

It is very good for the public that judges across the country are now doing the "change the case code" move so that the dockets in these cases can be accessed on PACER.

[Immigration case filings are only accessible in person, not on PACER.]

Appalling. I've known Tatchell for years as narcissistic, deceitful, and driven by publicity. But here he is selling out every single LGBT+ asylum seeker in the UK--just to get airtime on a far-right, Farage-affiliated TV network and a headline in the racist Daily Mail. It's unbelievably disgusting.
