Giving goblin sharpshooter deathtouch is legitimately one of my favorite ways to do a boardwipe. It’s hilarious

If you want to give your deck some hand-crafted one-of-a-kind artwork, I’ll be opening up a couple commission slots for painted tokens soon.

I have a couple projects I’m finishing up, but I should have five slots open by next week and post the info. 🤘

I’ve done it multiple times and it works surprisingly well.

Here’s stuff that helps me:
-something like the force method to show the direction of forms before doing forms themselves
-paying close attention to overlapping forms.
-trace to get an idea of proportion
-draw only what you see
-practice multiple times and see what works best for your process :)

Black/white/red sketch

Acrylic on canvas board

Inspired by old magazines that could only reproduce those colors on covers. It’s a pretty fun way to simplify values and whatnot.
