I know about people that just collect notebooks just because they love them. So it's possible to have a lot.

I mean, we made up time, so... yeah.

True, it's just notebooks that have been given to me, some I've had for so many years and they're still empty. I can fill a drawer with them and keep them there, or I can send them to a better place. 😅 *throws some notebooks over*

Sketchboard pro is good to keep in the back of your head

I wish half of it could be gone already. It's still good stuff but jeez what do I need a million empty notebooks for? And hairstyling tools I never use....... I'm not the same human I was before my diagnosis 😅

Realllly depends on the person, some people think cabinets and drawers are just to plop stuff in to XD

Put it in your basket, let it sit for a bit and take another look in a few days

You're probably usually very quiet, I'm sure they'll forgive it.

Yeah, same with us. Maybe the end of a hallway or in the bathroom next to the toilet?

You could move that microwave to the new cabinet.... There is a plug above it 😊
I still love those tiled walls of yours.

I had to replace mine for a fake one because it got insects and I lost that battle. But more green near you is imo better for you.

If palm will be happy, I think it's good there.

The eldest here looks at a certain door every time he wants food or snacks, although the food and snacks haven't been stored in that room for a very long time. 🤣

I have two scaredy-cats, luckily, the moment that tree comes after them the fun is gone for good. But they haven't seen one yet. I love Zens drive to murder the tree XD

And it's not something we control, it just happens. Having more stimuli just means more processes to process.
Everything in life is one of those processes (random sounds, changes, hair touching my face), and it just takes time, and a lot of energy to deal with.

A shutdown feels like a complete halt to your brain. Talking and thinking become nearly impossible.
It's like how an old PC would get stuck, and you'd be pressing Ctrl+alt+del and nothing... Eventually hard resetting the thing. But we can't hard reset our brains. We need to sort the processes.

And I'd recommend for her to put her (full) name on her tag with the sunflower lanyard. So the police can just look her up from there instead of taking her purse and having her get more upset.
December 25, 2025 at 12:34 AM
I probably would've offered her a bear, give her something else to do than scratch herself. Give her space, let people leave her be so she can come out of the shutdown. When she is able to move, ask her yes and no questions, use your hands one is yes the other is no, have her answer by tapping.

Getting stuck in a full shutdown in the middle of a busy park, having people touch you and talk to you when you need space... I get it from both sides, but it sucks so much. She even had instructions on a sunflower lanyard, it helped, but not enough.
