It’s in basically pristine shape & I still enjoy it but there’s no reason for me to own the number of guitars I do & I firmly believe a good instrument deserves to be played often so I’m hoping someone wants to do that with this one.

It’s an Epiphone Les Paul Special II left handed with pickups upgraded to covered humbuckers that I’ve liked the sound & appearance of more than what it came with.

While I don’t normally like to use “counterfeit” or knock-off hardware, in this case there’s simply no fucking way I’m paying $300+ for a real left-handed bigsby but there don’t seem to be any knock off lefty’s kicking around for cheap…

I initially tried rough cutting the shapes with a sawzall but that was NOT remotely the right tool for it, lol. I’m the end was able to use a coping saw which I found pretty effective.

Also considering trying semi-hollow so the two middle layers would get some wood cut out leaving the outline & a centre block for stability. The top two layers get cut out for the neck, a spare from my first electric.

Still need to figure out & draw on the exact locations for bridge, pickups, neck, knobs, switch & output jack.

So far I’ve roughly cut 4 layers of 3/8 plywood that was left behind by the crew that redid my roof in 2018.
