Theres a lot of blame to go around, but I think too much is placed on the media. Trump supporters ive talked to know he lies, they just dont think it matters. Its just colorful silliness while he does what they like, which is apparently dismantling democracy sufficiently to keep white men in power

Maybe? But no matter how strong the infrastructure, we lack a clear stated vision we are proud to proclaim loudly and accurately. We need a platform that people can rally for. Where is our Project 20xx, but actually benefitting all americans? We cant afford to wait for a specific campaign.

We also vote against interest. Isnt that the point of being liberal? We need to really grasp whats going on to overcome it, and a massive piece of the puzzle imho is feeling superior. Their team is winning. Winning is the point. Maybe.

Where’s the line tho? Dont help raise the debt ceiling? Dont help fund the gov’t? Dont vote for sanctions where appropriate?

I dont think its a clear ethical/moral fact that resisting literally everything is a requirement.
Agreed, we cant afford quid pro quo. We probably shouldnt trade some bad for some good.

But every game is intended to have holding ref’d fairly. This affects only games in soldier field, and the bears get exposed to that for half their games, all others just 1 or 0.

The problem is the uneven application. It affects the bears more. It makes them treated differently than all other teams. If this were justice, or life and death, then yeah, use it. But its sports.
