John. Thanks! I saw that he had only two years in the league and thought he was pre-arbitration. I didn’t realize he was an international free agent.

When they just named the nat’l champion, everyone argued who was 1 vs 2. When they went to a nat’l championship game, they argued who was 2 vs 3. When they went to 4 team playoff, everyone argued4 vs 5. We’re just always going to argue who should be in, no matter how many teams are let in or how!

I went door to door in my town the week before the election for GOTV to known democratic households. Everyone I talked to was on board with Democratic candidates up and down the ballot, except for the black men I talked to who all were very skeptical of Kamala. This is anecdote, not data, of course

Even if Jones is able to come back at all next year, I think we’ve seen that it takes quarterbacks at least another year to get back to baseline

I did HR consulting for Lucent in 2000, and was sad to see what was once Bell Labs and what was still creating the infrastructure for cellphones be reduced to a growth-and-stock-price mismanaged company. (In the 2 months I worked there, their stock price plummeted by half!)
