The problem isnt the law, which requires that the state *request assistance* from the federal government. The problem here is the incompetent lowlife and lawless president, who is violating the law he is supposed to uphold.

And no surprise that "Senator" Mullin was lying.

Time to start bringing those criminals in D.C. to justice.
August 11, 2025 at 3:33 PM
D.C. doesn't even make the top 25 "most dangerous cities" in the U.S

But at least we're not talking about those Epstein files and why all those FBI agents were assigned to scrub Trump's name from them.

How it started & how it's going, fucking idiots edition.
July 16, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Of course, the reason you know that "Iran said there is no ceasefire" because the corporate media did ask the question and reported what "Iran said."
June 23, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Did Donald Trump consult the Trump White House about canceling the $1.4 trillion in UAE investment in the United States that they just announced four weeks ago? The UAE handles >1 million barrels a day of Iranian petroleum.

The whole world knows that Trump's idiot team did not calculate "reciprocal tariffs" from any actual tariff rates or costs of non-tariff barriers. But, even if you accept their "theory," they got rates wrong by 4x because they used elasticity of retail not import prices.

This fucking idiot is talking about slapping a tariff on Russian oil. The U.S. Energy Information Administration records that we have *zero* imports of Russian oil & petroleum products since April 2022.

The New York Court of Appeals (highest court in the state's system) was interpreting Article II of the state's constitution, which expressly states that *citizens* can vote. Whether the law should be different for city elections is a different question; what the law currenly provides is another.

Anybody else notice that going it alone went from "so great you won't believe it" to "National Emergency" overnight?
March 11, 2025 at 3:10 PM
So much winning.
The S&P was up 25% in 2024, and up 55% from when he took office four years ago.
March 6, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Lutnick is using the term "USMCA-compliant" because he thinks it sounds better than "zero percent tariff" trade.
March 6, 2025 at 3:48 PM
And by USMCA-compliant, he means *everything* that we import from Mexico and Canada, most of it with these ZERO % tariffs.

A little reminder to the neighborhood that it didn't have to be like this. The Republican neighbors in the house in the background are also flying a Harris/Walz flag today.
March 4, 2025 at 11:40 PM
They have an answer for that: Trump will cut off federal funds to States whose governors don't pardon his favorite state convicts.

"The right question when you see a change in estimate or accounting principle is why, and why now. That's the only important question ..."

According to the Tax Foundation, we're all working for the federal government during the first 105 days of the year, so feel free to tell them you're working for the federal government at ... wherever you are. Right now, I'm working for the federal government at home.

Feel free to include any personal messages you may have for Elon Musk. Apparently, he's going to read all of these emails.
February 23, 2025 at 2:10 AM
I'm sure everybody has heard about this obnoxious email to all federal employees, demanding to know what they did last week. Replies should be sent to [email protected].
I think we should ALL respond to this email, describing in approximately five bullet points what we did last week, BY NOON ON MONDAY.

Trump's Executive Order on "authoritatively interpretations" of the law from Trump or Pam Bondi, v. more than 200 years of constitutional law. The Supreme Court in Loper *just last year* insisted that the courts, and not the executive branch agencies, will say "what the law is."
February 21, 2025 at 2:28 PM
The "massive Social Security fraud" of $72 billion in "improper payments" occurred during the period 2015-2022. Trump was President for most of that period. That's why it won't go beyond social media shitposting.

You can see the problem. If they'd invited Zelensky and the EU, Rubio and his team would have to share the right side of the table with Lavrov.
February 18, 2025 at 7:56 PM
The Supreme Court held 9-0 that he's wrong, and that President Nixon & his EPA Administrator could not do that.

My mother passed away on this date in 2017. She (and my father) left school at the University of Michigan to enlist in WWII. Corporal Mary Congdon served overseas as a WAC in the European Theatre and was always very proud of her service. This country used to be proud of it, too.
