Pity even if all tariffs came off, ICE is still out there disappearing ppl of colour, & not believing the I.D. ppl try to show to prove citizenship. Many in Canada simply have better places to visit where they feel safe to walk the streets, & USA isn't on the list. Even if That stops, it's a no go.

Red flag laws, background checks, waiting periods, safe storage laws, ban full auto, bump stocks & you have a good start on fixing this mess. Maybe modify your 2nd ammendment. You can have guns w/o the carnage. Criminals, on the other hand, don't obey any laws.

Define "assault weapon".
Just b/c it looks like an AK doesn't mean it operates like one. We in Canada banned full auto so called Assault weapons in the 70s. You can try, but there's so many out there, it's a monumental task, & they won't be taken from criminal hands. Everything else we already do.

A few yrs ago, a bud who drives trucks to all states, came home to Canada with the fear they'd start a civil ear down there, soon. Very Us vs Them mentality down there. It's sad, how easy the "rubes" follow Trumpid, & the rich who lead them like sheep.

We in Canada have far stricter laws about firearms with red flag laws & background checks & safe storage laws, all followed by 99.99% of legal owners. Red flag laws may have stopped this sad event before it started. Demand changes! Vote for changes! This has to stop.

In Canada, even tho our firearms laws are messy, as far as regulations of classification, we at Least have a lot better system for ownership, with safety requirements & licensing & Red flag laws that would stop a lot of the shootings in your country. Enforcement of that 1 law would be a good start.

Sine Carney is a Blue Liberal, and a centrist, as are many of the Cons who just got re-elected, having to toe SkiPPy's line, it's a doorway to a more progressive Gov to them. I can't see ALL con MP's being very similar to SkiPPy. Going thru that door to the Lib side is a breath of fresh air to them?

I liked Otoole but he went wonky, & the party platform had more holes than a range target, so I voted for Policy, not Person. It's not a popularity contest, but who Promises to raise everyone up, no matter the partisan stance. SkiPPy et al, simply vote against everything the Libs put forward.

Privately run bottle depots weren't needed, as long as the Beer store has the monopoly on it. Pop & other cans or bottles were supposed to make $ for the recycling mob, but that's become unprofitable. Even with a 10c deposit on cans of all types & bottles, likely 1/2 wouldn't make it to a depot.
