My understanding from talking to PBOT + TriMet reps at a neighborhood meeting last night is that most transit time savings will be realized by signal priority and stop consolidation (reducing the number of stops…). The difference between the current plan and full BAT is only 5% shorter trips

“Political violence” implies that this is motivated by some polite, abstract disagreement. But denying health care to increase profits isn’t just a difference of opinion, it’s hurting people in a very real way.

“Mob justice” maybe, because I think for millions this does feel like justice.

I always love seeing a row of cargo bikes parked out front of the hardware store. But yeah, no one rides bikes and people on bikes don’t spend money.

I feel like the butterfly was ambiguous - it was there, then it wasn’t. If it was there then it rewards her faith. If it wasn’t, then faith is wrong. But it’s up to the viewer to make that call.
