Oh yes! Via the MIT piece: "As conversations with experts and AI companies made clear, inference, not training, represents an increasing majority of AI’s energy demands and will continue to do so in the near future. It’s now estimated that 80–90% of computing power for AI is used for inference."

Yes, Spotify does own the show. We can let the higher-ups know that this is a dealbreaker for some listeners (we don't have a say over these ads)

We talked about this internally — but didn't go into this because there's ALSO evidence showing that when it's lighter into the evening, fewer pedestrians get hit by cars at that time of day. It's tough to tell in what circumstances fewer people get hit.

Yes! We didn't get into specific solutions, but that's the kind of thing we were alluding to when we talked about how you can make adjustments. But some economists still argue that with fewer people, productivity goes down and your economy suffers (which cooooould affect the rich + taxes)
