i used adobe before, and the affinity app that felt the weirdest was always affinity photo, as it did have (v2 as well honestly) some really weird ux especially related to how it treated images vs raster layers etc

depends on what your flavor of bugs are, v2 for me hasn't been particularly buggy outside of some specific cases where it loves to fall flat on its face
the real reason for going v2 would be the new features ( VARIABLE FONTS and maybe some others )
