Here, another piece from an Ecuadorian coatal culture shows a shaman with a fetching butterfly barette.

The left is a clay representation. Sebastian thinks its of this genus of moth which is typically a pest on Yucca. Something that would be grown a lot. This is from a preincan costal culture
