Living in America is so stressful right now. Our government has basically declared war on its own citizens. People are not only disappearing, they are now being murdered by ICE. I feel we are at the point of no return and there is nothing we can do to stop it. I have never felt so helpless.

We had a Persian silk tree in our backyard for a couple of years and the sweet fragrance of its flowers were so wonderfully delicious the aroma has never left my memory. Unfortunately, the harsh soil of Las Vegas wasn't ideal for it to thrive.

I took a little drive along the northwestern edge of the city yesterday. One thing you can almost always count on in Las Vegas is the expansive blue sky! Not a cloud to be found.

I have quite a collection, but when Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox bought The National Geographic Magazine back in 2015, I canceled my subscription because I could no longer trust the content to be truthful. The Walt Disney Company purchased the magazine in 2019.
