They opened a new investigation specifically so they could claim large parts of the evidence as part of that investigation so they could avoid public disclosure.

Child care, fast and free busses, rent freeze for stabilized units. I'm all the way out in Everett Washington.

Looks like AI tbh.

I was pointing out why romance is handled differently from other topics, and why it makes sense for tables to handle it that way. Not trying to have an argument here just adding my perspective as a fellow DnD player.

Who says people are only looking at the one issue. Tables I've played with, rules and expectations are discussed for like 3 to 4 hours as a session 0, how romance will be handled is like 5 to 10 minutes of that at most.

Yea but the goal is to prevent the harm before it happens and a blanket 'no' on romance stuff can effectively do that. Personally I'm fine with games that include romance, but also understand and am fine with the games that don't.

It pretty much reflects the same weird disparity in media. But with romance, multiple times I've seen players catch feelings based on something that happened in character, or someone deciding that because it's role play they don't need to respect consent.

Role playing romance requires a lot of trust, and done wrong can lead a lot of problems in the group. Especially for tables with people who aren't already close friends it kinda makes sense to avoid the problem.

She immediately pivots to a comparison with races that don't have nearly the profile that NYC mayor does, but she got over the bare minimum hurdle of endorsing the guy that the base of the democratic party really likes right now.

I thought he was divorced, who the fuck would agree to have kids with him?

It's because that is the crudely drawn body of a child, not the crudely drawn body of an adult woman.

It's not a region problem, my local DSA chapter is still mostly Seattle Metro area folks, and it doesn't have the same issues.
August 19, 2025 at 7:34 AM
Oh for sure it's not a reflection of every chapter or DSA as a whole. My local DSA is fine, but just south of me, Seattle DSA has issues, and I know of other chapters and other leftist groups that also have problems being friendly.
August 19, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Sure but isn't that still a problem. If a pretty good and relatively well known liberal leaning journalist feels Nazis are more welcoming to her than some DSA chapters or leftist groups, that's the chapters/groups fucking up.
August 19, 2025 at 6:37 AM
She's right though... DSA chapters acting like an exclusionary social club instead of a political party trying to bring people together and get shit done is a real problem.

What about him getting crushed so hard today that he (and the money backing him) realize running in the fall is pointless?
