Just saw “Bananaland”. The songs aren’t doing anything new (esp. if you’re already familiar with Miller-Heidke & Nuttall’s work) but the heartfelt and earnest book and many, many belly laughs turn the obvious archetypes into real characters you care about. It was great, I’d see it again in a flash.

Honestly, a perfect song. Gets in, does what it needs to do the way it needs to do it, gets out again. Such style and campness. I’ve loved this song since I was a wee one and mum had the 7”. Now I have my own. In a picture sleeve! I love your jazz, razamatazz!

I went on a shopping episode in Baldur’s Gate so have sexy new duds for everyone. I think I need to do a bit of work on Wyll and Shadowheart, they’re not quite popping yet.

I wasn’t sure I was in the mood when I left to see Kristin Hersh yesterday but unsurprisingly the show was a gorgeous balm, like moisturiser for the spirit. I’m really enjoying her new album, and the set included three that I wanted to vibe with (Slippershell, Gazebo Tree, Your Dirty Answer) so 💯 ♥️

I’ve had my name (well the family) paged at the airport for the first time ever. Mortified. It was because the loos near the gate were closed, and juggling three kids to the other side of the terminal takes time! Anyway, we’re on holiday. See you in a week!
