Dette er også et nasjonalt problem; 40% av alle norske menn mellom 17 og 25 er Frp-støttespillere. iPad- og TikTok-generasjonen er fullstendig blåst.

Are you just trolling? The Tea Party was a movement *within* the GOP, not an actual, separate political party. They did what I’m saying you should do, and not what you’re saying you should do. So you’re basically admitting that what I’m recommending has been proven to work before.

Simply vote them out in the primaries then, and better yet, vote for primary candidates that advocate for electoral reform, so your dream of a multi-party system can actually come true. It simply won’t under the current electoral system, it will only spoil the anti-GOP vote and let them win forever.

And yet under FPTP they’re the only viable alternative to outright fascism. As I already said, the electoral system must be changed before multi-party politics can function. Advocating for a party split before electoral reform is advocating for permanent GOP domination, it’s quite plain.

If it were about domestic policy it would be be scarier imo. But when it’s foreign policy, yeah, they really should have been taking tougher stances on some issues (e.g. Russia and Israel).
May 7, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Yeah so you clearly do not have the US opposition’s best interests in mind; if you care more about destroying the opposition’s electoral chances than about removing an actual fascist from the presidency, I think it’s best you avoid politics altogether.

Except it clearly is a broad coalition when it’s comprised of everyone from socialists like AOC and co. to mainstream libs and centrists. All you’re advocating for here is to lose all national elections forever.
May 7, 2025 at 4:55 PM
About half the country votes Republican, yeah. Trump got 49.8%, my man. Splitting Kamala’s 48.3% into two separate blocs with 30/18 or 25/23 or whatever is not a great move electorally, believe it or not. Like I said, the electoral system needs to be changed before a multi-party system can work.
May 7, 2025 at 2:21 PM
Because splitting the center and left would be such a great idea..? You’ll end up with Dems at 30%, Progressives at 20%, and GOP at 50%. You’d never win another national election. The US needs proportional representation before there can be any talk of new parties.

That’s clearly not AI. Just a slight filter.
March 19, 2025 at 1:39 PM
Yeah, it’s way too high, but think of it as -3 points in just one month. Another month or two of this and they’ll already be in trouble.
March 19, 2025 at 12:39 PM
The same exact thing is happening in Norway right now, thanks to former NATO leader Stoltenberg coming back to national politics (he’s a top member of the ruling center-left Labor Party, which has gained 10-15pp in like 2 months). From solid right-wing majority to dead tie in the polls instantly.
March 19, 2025 at 12:33 PM
What an absolute abomination of a poll then, lmao. And that still doesn’t make it the last field work date, even if they themselves called it that. It’s just a baseless projection for the distant future.
March 11, 2025 at 12:22 AM
No, not everyone wants to eliminate any of them.
February 27, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Sp is out of the coalition, so Ap is finally giving us real social democratic policies. Also Jens Stoltenberg is back from his NATO job and has been made minister of finance — he’s the most popular politician in the country by far.

So you just post ads now?
January 23, 2025 at 1:27 AM
Damn it sounds almost dystopian, and I can’t imagine it’s about to get better any time soon. But good to see there are some who’ve seen through the revisionism, at least :/
January 22, 2025 at 9:22 PM
So would you say the curriculum has gotten more vague on the details of the war over time? If so that’s concerning. Here in Europe all these things are pretty much universal knowledge (makes sense of course since it’s where most of it happened, but still).
January 22, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Not to be a dick but wtf do they even teach in American schools? How do you guys not know this?
January 22, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Still there!
January 19, 2025 at 7:08 PM
I think you’re just unfamiliar with Greenland’s status and with the position of the Danish government. That’s fine, we can’t expect the average American to know much about it. But that’s a reason for why it’s probably best to stick to your own country’s affairs and not intervene in those of others.
January 19, 2025 at 2:46 AM
Denmark’s issue is not with the prospect of Greenland leaving, but with a foreign country intervening in the internal affairs of the Danish realm, which Greenland is, for the time being, a part of. Like I said already, it’s best if you Americans stay out of the internal affairs of other countries.
January 19, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Except it is entirely under the control of Greenlanders. They can hold a referendum if they wish. Denmark is not a federation, Greenland has the right to leave and that is the expressed stance of the current Danish government as well.
January 19, 2025 at 2:40 AM
When someone says they think something is a good idea, it’s usually implied that they support it. If that’s not the case, the natural move is to immediately clarify. Weird of you to not do that even when confronted. We have wasted enough time now, take care.
