To the person whose post I can no longer find who asked why I chose Amazon to publish my short story 3 Days, 9 Months, 27 Years: It was the other way around, Amazon asked me to write the story for an anthology they were publishing, and then paid me what I consider an acceptable rate for it.

Yesterday we were gifted a commemorative plate and program from the 1970s celebrating the centennial of the Methodist church here in town, and the plate features the church building we now own. How cool and awesome. I wrote about both over on my site:

On one hand I forgot my watch when I took the dog for a walk this morning, so I don't get any credit for exercise in my Fitbit stats, but one the other hand it's a glorious fall morning, so there's that at least.
