I DID boost the volume slightly and throw on a mild noise gate to cut out some background hum from my, and I can not stress this enough, very unprofessional mic with no sound isolation setup

But just listening to that last half plus one of the other tracks I've uploaded the difference is jarring

... And now "This account has been blocked for security purposes" lol. Yeah okay, that one's on me for trying repeatedly to figure out what went wrong instead of just immediately contacting support.

There's too much noise to record during the day without a sound isolation booth, and I don't have $10,000 for one of those, so it'll be late this evening or tomorrow before I can edit together before/after samples together

I listened back to the recording and I can't believe this is the same guitar. This is the sound I've been chasing all these years. It's bell-like. There's a literal ring to the sound, and projection I've never seen from a concert guitar.

I don't think the bridge pins actually matter. They just look better than the cheap plastic ones. They should be more durable as well, and the wood was ethically sourced

The saddle was a bit of a pain in the ass to fit because it's the same LENGTH as the plastic saddle (or what Yamaha calls Urea, like that matters. It's garbage plastic), but the thickness required me to sand the hell out of it to fit the bridge slot.

I also installed the cocobolo bridge pins.

So uh... Does that make you the proverbial void I've been shouting into all that time?

I get a kick out of the look on people's faces when I tell them I'm allergic to mushrooms. I'm not, actually, but I am AUDHD and cannot STAND the texture. It literally ivokes my gag reflex, but saying "Allergic" is more universally understood as "It gets a bad reaction" haha
