Years ago I saw a Pretenders open for a Tom Petty show and Chrissy Hynde had just broken her leg and she couldn’t play a full set so he filled in for her playing guitar while she sat and sang❤️😊was beautiful and amazing

Saw Tom Petty back in the 80s- his opener didn’t show. He came out, apologized then played the length of time the opener was to have, took an intermission-came back&played his full set, then came back& played multiple encores. I think we got 4hrs total of Tom playing.
