I voted both Dem and Repub until Bush. I've never been an arch conservative. But the definition of conservative has also changed dramatically over the decades. In the 80s and 90s no conservative would have presumed bodily autonomy over someone else.

I think we are out of time. I have been a centrist for most of my life. I was an Indep for 40 yrs. During that time republikkkons moved the center completely. I want social democracy. Thats my new center. We need to work that messaging now

The reason more young people did not come out and vote for VP Harris is because they couldn't find anything to get excited about for them. We'll never convert MAGA; we have to open the party up to what young people also need.
