Absolutely clown post. Alt 3 is more expensive than alt 4, vastly lower ridership, slower, and atrocious station placement. Also, the Getty stop would never get built in the first place. It would get value engineered out, and then you'd have a crappy slow monorail for nothing.

The scene shown in the second panel is what a suburb looks like, not a city. Sprawling car dependant building patterns produce places like that. There are plenty of cities filled with greenery.
