Mostly I paint my feelings. The understanding comes later. I painted this not realizing I was depicting 2 ways of dealing with the winds of adversity: by leaning into them or bending with them. A lot of people have a print of Prevailing hanging in their home or office.

Then I went down to Reid Park. Got there around 10 and there were only a handful of ppl there, but the numbers quickly grew. We eventually crowded the street from Randolph Way to Country Club. A few favorite signs. Tucson, AZ
